Alex is a dedicated and detail-oriented law student from the Seattle area with a passion for making legal guidance approachable and accessible. After graduating from Wesleyan University in 2020, he worked for Shook, Hardy & Bacon as a paralegal in corporate governance. During this time, Alex played a pivotal role in supporting his sole client, Microsoft, by ensuring its subsidiary network complied with local and international banking, tax, and intellectual property laws.

 

Collaborating with foreign outside counsel taught Alex how to manage complex tasks efficiently while fostering clear and effective communication between subsidiary employees and corporate personnel back in Washington. This experience deepened his interest in law, inspiring him to enroll in the University of Washington School of Law, where he is part of the Class of 2026.

 

Alex aims to specialize in corporate law with a focus on international transactions and foreign investment. His patient and flexible approach allows him to accommodate clients’ needs while transparently addressing the practical constraints of the law. He is committed to giving legal advice a friendly face, ensuring that people from all walks of life feel empowered and informed when navigating legal matters.
